Job Description:
Candidate needs to have experience working in manufacturing and having ability to train people on machines.
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Machine Operator/Trainer to assist with production operations and train team members on the safe and efficient use of equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating and maintaining production machinery, with a focus on ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. You will lead by example, ensuring best practices are followed while mentoring and training operators to develop their skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation & Maintenance:
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot a variety of production equipment, ensuring it runs efficiently and safely.
- Perform regular maintenance and quality checks to avoid downtime and ensure machine longevity.
- Adjust machine settings to meet production specifications.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to repair or troubleshoot any technical issues.
- Serve as the go-to expert for machine operation and production processes.
- Provide direction and support to machine operators, ensuring adherence to production schedules.
- Monitor production performance metrics and implement improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Train and mentor new and existing machine operators, ensuring they understand proper machine operation, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Develop training materials and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for equipment operation.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to operators to help improve skills and performance.
- Ensure all team members follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct regular safety checks and audits to minimize risks and hazards in the workplace.
- Keep up to date with industry safety standards and implement best practices within the team.
