Job Description:
- Contract with the possibility of extending or converting to permanent based on performance and budget.
- Work Hours: 12-Hr shift, day shift, 7am-7pm
- ** The usual schedule is 3-4 days per week, working every other weekend. And not working every holiday.
- Test, evaluate, and document the quality of incoming materials, intermediate products, and the general properties of finished goods.
- Support productivity improvement efforts by making process measurements, observations, and audits needed to support process investigations and experiments.
- Candidate must have high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Preferred: Experience in a physical testing lab
- Preferred: Manufacturing experience
- Accomplished at performing and evaluating physical measurements (i.e. reading calipers); proficient in test equipment troubleshooting techniques, scientific record keeping, and routine report writing.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Windows operating systems.
- Able to use MS Excel spreadsheets effectively, enter data in applications, and navigate basic file management systems.
- Detail oriented and accurate. Able to follow standard work and procedures.
- Self-motivated; able to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.
- Must a quick learner, a self-starter and demonstrate initiative.
