The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Machine Operator/Machining/Machinist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Stoughton, WI. Details for the position are as follows:
Payrate: $21/hr W2
Job Title: Machine Operator/Machining/Machinist
Location: Stoughton, WI
Duration: 12 months Contract
Monday - Friday from 6am - 4pm with some overtime as needed.
Required:
- Mechanical aptitude, working with your hands and hand tools.
- Experience with fabrication shop equipment. (shears, drill presses, hydraulic presses, press brake, band saws, power, and hand tools)
- Mechanical aptitude, working with your hands and hand tools.
- Some welding/machining training/background
- Blueprint/drawing interpretation a plus.

Job Summary:
Performs skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs. Selects and uses appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment completing work with limited guidance. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
