Maintenance Mechanic - Immediate Job Opportunity

The Fountain Group is currently seeking an­­­­­ Maintenance Mechanic for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Cleveland, OHDetails for the position are as follows:
 
Job Description:
  • Pay: $23 to $25hr (W2).
  • Shifts Available: (1st shift) 7:00am to 3:30pm - Monday through Friday (Onsite).
  • 6 month assignment - possibility to extend or convert based off performance and budget. (No guarantees).
  • The Maintenance Technician position serves the role of executing plant maintenance functions in support of production in the safest, most efficient manner possible for the manufacture of product that meets or exceeds our customers' expectations.
  • Execution of duties in accordance with Henkel's SHE standards and practices including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Immediate correction of safety hazards. Stoppage of production due to concerns regarding safety, quality of product, equipment damage, etc.
  • Execution of duties in accordance with departmental standard operating procedures including accurate and timely completion of required paperwork. Recognizance and communication of paperwork errors, work order related or otherwise.
  • Engagement and ownership of one's own work area and equipment and the work areas and equipment where maintenance functions occur. This includes the resultant quality of work on the equipment, the related administrative work, and the level of productive achievement.
  • Procurement and storage of accurate and timely spare parts.
  • Maintains a professional, team-player attitude, helping other Henkel employees and temporaries exceed expectations.
  • Identification and communication of Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunities. Implementation of opportunities with supervisor approval.
  • Operates shop machinery (drill press, band saw, arbor press, bench grinder, milling machine, lathe, and welders) in the execution of work orders.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school degree or GED required.
  • Excellent overall mechanical understanding and abilities, with previous maintenance experience preferred.
  • Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and Grow in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Current Ohio driver's license and a good driving record as defined by HCA's insurance carrier.
  • Ability to work at heights, utilizing ladders, scaffolding or lifts.
  • Highly knowledgeable and experienced in operating hand and power tools.
