Job Description: 

The Medical Affairs Manager (IVDR) will support the Global Director of Medical & Scientific Affairs in defining medical affairs strategy and executing medical activities related to the IVDR process.

  • Serve as a scientific and medical liaison to key stakeholders within the IVDR core team.

  • Drive and execute medical actions to resolve medical and scientific issues pertinent to various IVDR processes.
  • Attend all IVDR meetings to represent Medical Affairs functions and provide necessary medical support identified by the IVDR team.
  • Review published literature and real-life evidence related to company products, analyze findings, and present them in the required format to support IVDR initiatives.
  • Collaborate in planning and executing Advisory Board Meetings or other non-promotional medical projects to provide essential medical evidence for the IVDR process.
  • Provide updated medical information, disease knowledge, and medical training as needed to other business functions.
  • Contribute to enhancing medical scientific knowledge, reviewing literature, and generating new ideas to optimize disease management and patient care.
  • Maintain all relevant documentation for medical affairs projects and activities to ensure compliance, particularly related to the IVDR process.
  • Contribute to the generation of medical education content for digital platforms aimed at patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Identify, establish, and maintain scientific collaborative relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), including KOL development, engagement, and leveraging KOLs for services.

 

Required Skills: 

  • M.D. degree required.
  • 1-3 years of experience of medical device experience withing clinical research. 
  • Experience in seeking medical information and writing medical documents.
  • Prior experience in a global medical affairs role is desirable.
  • Attention to detail, ability to work in a team environment, strong organizational skills, and multitasking ability.
  • Project management skills are necessary.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in presentation skills.
