Currently I have an opening for a Quality Control Research Associate located in Santa Monica, CA. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Conduct non-routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished product samples.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation and test methods and assists in the training of QC staff as needed.
- Applies knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and Good Laboratory.
- Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
- Writes and executes protocols, reports, analytical methods, and SOPs.
- Evaluates equipment for purchase and performs installations and qualifications of the new instruments.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree with professional quality control experience within GMP or GLP.
- Experience with any of the following analytical chemistry equipment – HPLC, GC, TLC, Ion Exchange, Liquid Chromatography, LC-MS, MS, etc.
- 12-month contract with potential for extension or conversion
- Pay: $30-$35.96 hourly
- Onsite, M-F, 8am-5pm
