Job Description:
  • The Molecular Biology Department is seeking a Research Associate to assist with the development and optimization of nucleic acid therapeutics including the company’s individualized Neoantigen Specific immunotherapy (iNeST) platform.
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for the design, generation, archiving, and distribution of RNA-based reagents to support fast-paced, pre-clinical studies.
  • The candidate is expected to adapt to evolving project needs and work effectively in both independent and team-based research environments.
  • Meticulous record keeping and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate across a cross-functional team.
  • Strongest consideration will be given to candidates with expertise in molecular cloning, nucleic acid chemistry, in vitro transcription, mRNA analytics, protein expression analysis, and basic cell culture.
  • Ideal candidates will also have a firm understanding of immunology, manipulation of immune cells, and molecular biology/data analysis software (Benchling, SnapGene, DNAStar, Microsoft Excel macros, etc).
  • Bachelor’s or master’s graduate with experience in cell culture and molecular biology assays such as PCR, qPCR, cloning, sequencing, or automated liquid handlers.
Technical Information:
  • Pay: $25-37 hourly, depending on experience level
  • 12-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to permanent
  • Onsite, M-F, 8am-5pm
