Currently seeking a Animal Research Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Athens, GA. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Shift: Monday-Friday 1st shift. (Weekend OT required once a month)
- Pay: $20/hr.
- This is a temporary assignment that is slated for 1 year with possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
- This position is responsible for working in an animal research laboratory setting under Biosafety Level 1 and 2 conditions. This person may provide guidance to junior team members as delegated by the Site Veterinarian or Group/Team Leader.
- This position is also responsible for assisting with scientific procedures in accordance with study protocols, completes and maintains appropriate documentation associated with all job assignments, and provides equipment sanitation and facility maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Comfortable with lifting 50-70lbs.
- Must be comfortable working with livestock.
