Currently I have an opening for a Chemist position in Columbus, OH. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Assist the team with lab testing - analytical and wet chemistry techniques.
- Will test physical stability, FTIR testing, assist with lab write ups, and general communications (email, meetings, notes).
- Perform wet chemistry testing including pH testing, titrations, filtrations, weighing compounds, pipetting, etc.
- Perform solution preparation as needed.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and general up-keep including sterilizing equipment, using an autoclave, and stocking lab supplies.
- Use analytical techniques such as FTIR, HPLC, UV-VIs, etc.
- HS/AS graduate with professional experience or a recent bachelors in a life science realm!
- 12-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to permanent
- Onsite, M-F, 7am-3:30pm
- Pay: $18-19 hourly, depending on experience level
