Job Description:
- $24.00-$26.00/hr to start!
- 6.5-month contract to start with the possibility of extension or conversion based on budget and performance.
- Shift: 2:00PM- 10:30PM, Monday- Friday, onsite position.
- Position will mainly be responsible for performing microbiological sampling and assays, operating laboratory equipment and LIMS, documenting results, and maintaining aseptic practices and data integrity in compliance with SOPs, FDA, GLP, QSR, and cGMP requirements.
- Responsibilities also include performing wet and instrumental analyses, maintaining laboratory supplies, operating equipment such as autoclaves and incubators, conducting audits, and following laboratory safety and 5S practices.
- Position will also be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, managing multiple tasks, performing calculations accurately, following detailed procedures, and communicating effectively with laboratory personnel.
- Associates or Bachelors degree is required.
- Experience with environmental monitoring is preferred.
- Knowledge of GMP/ FDA regulations is preferred.
- Experience with endotoxin, bioburden, or sterility testing is required.
- Experience with QC or microbiology is required.
