Job Description:
- Pay: $93-112 hr based on experience
- 6-month assignment possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and budget
- Mon - Fri
- Design and develop state of the art, space-based communication systems for commercial, civil, and national security programs
- Work with domestic and international customers on the latest satellite systems
- Design and develop next generation RF, and digital satellite communication systems
- Develop and verify multi-rate fixed point digital signal processing architectures
- Allocate, define, and verify requirements and interfaces in the development of communication digital payloads
- Develop performance and link budgets
- Conduct performance analysis of signal processing models
- Execute payload system trade studies to improve performance cost and/or schedule
- Develop prototype demonstrations on communication subsystem testbeds
- Plan unit-level integration and performance simulations
- Support ASIC and FPGA level system design and verification
- Support hardware procurement, design reviews, and unit sell-offs.
- Bachelors Degree, Masters, or PhD.
- 10+ years of related experience
- 6+ years of experience with signal processing or image processing
- 10+ years of experience with electronic systems engineering
- Experience with the development of algorithms for hardware implementation on ASICs or FPGAs preferred
- Digital Signal Processing based classes, project or work experience preferred
- Simulink experience in work or school preferred
- Verification planning and principles, while applying their theoretical knowledge in resoling real world problems
