We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Lab Support Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Tarrytown, NY 10591. Details of the position are as follows:
Job Details:
- Pay: $25/hr to Start!!
- 1 year assignment, possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
- Monday – Friday 1st shift
- Position will be mainly responsible for collecting, cleaning, sanitizing, and inspecting laboratory glassware and plasticware following established procedures.
- Position will also be responsible for operating glassware washers, sterilizers, and ultrasonic baths and performing routine equipment checks.
- Position will also maintain accurate equipment logs and documentation following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Position will also monitor glassware inventory and maintain clean, organized laboratory support areas.
Qualifications:
- HSD/GED + 2 years of relevant experience OR AA/ BS degree in a scientific or technical discipline is Required!
- Previous laboratory (can be academic lab) or operational environment experience is Preferred!
- Experience with glass wash or laboratory support experience is Preferred!
- Experience with autoclaves, glassware washers, or similar laboratory equipment is Preferred!
