Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Pay: $55-70/hr (W2) *flexible rate for qualified candidates*
- 12-month contract with potential for permanent conversion
- Hybrid schedule at any of the following locations: Dallas, TX; Jersey City, NJ; Tampa, FL
- You will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Python applications and services while building RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
- Develop data pipelines, automation frameworks, and AI/ML data processing components to support enterprise applications
- Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment while participating in code reviews, technical documentation, and application performance improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field
- 4-6 years of hands-on Python software development experience
- Strong experience with Python libraries, frameworks, REST APIs, Git, and software development best practices
- Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, object-oriented programming, and scalable application architecture
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with experience in Agile/Scrum environments
- Financial services or banking industry experience strongly preferred
