We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Sr. Automation Tester for a prominent client of ours. This position is in Jersey City, NJ or Dallas, TX / Hybrid, local candidates only. Details of the position are as follows:

- Pay: Jersey City - $55 - $75/hr. Dallas - $50 - $75/hr.
- 6+ months, right to hire.
- Position will be responsible for the design, development, execution, and maintenance of automated tests to ensure the quality of software products.
- Partners with team members to understand software requirements and execute automated tests that validate the functionality while considering privacy and security requirements Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Apply different software development and testing methodologies, tools, and technologies
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated tests across the delivery lifecycle
- Maintain traceability from user stories through test cases to automated scripts
- Identify dependencies for environmental and data requirements.
- Develop applications and construct unit test cases that ensure compliance with functional requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Should be in STEM field.
- 6+ years (minimum) experience with automated unit and integration testing required.
- Financial domain experience required.
- Hands on experience in API/XML Testing and Selenium with Java required.
- Experience in writing SQL queries required.
- Experience with front-end & backend testing using Java and Selenium required.
- Experienced in Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordination required.
- In depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle (specifically the testing model, methodology, and processes) required.
