Job Description
The Jr. Supply Chain Associate supports supply chain operations through deduction management, chargeback resolution, accounts receivable maintenance, reporting, and customer dispute research. This role is responsible for analyzing retailer deductions, identifying root causes, preparing financial adjustments, and supporting deduction resolution activities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Research and resolve retailer deductions, chargebacks, distribution claims, advertising claims, and returned product disputes.
- Analyze deduction root causes and recommend appropriate resolution actions.
- Maintain accounts receivable records by processing approved deductions and adjustments.
- Prepare deduction status reports, financial summaries, and management reporting.
- Generate customer-facing documentation, spreadsheets, and repayment requests for invalid deductions.
- Support deduction tracking, escalation management, and ad hoc supply chain projects.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Current students pursuing a degree may be considered.
Required Skills
- Experience in Supply Chain, Accounts Receivable, Credit, Deductions, Chargebacks, or Order-to-Cash operations.
- Knowledge of retailer deductions, dispute resolution, claims processing, and deduction management.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills including data analysis, reporting, formulas, Pivot Tables, and spreadsheet management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Experience preparing financial reports, deduction analyses, and operational summaries.
- Understanding of A/R processes, chargeback reconciliation, and financial adjustments.
- Data analysis and root cause investigation experience.
Preferred Skills
- Consumer products, retail, distribution, logistics, or supply chain industry experience.
- Experience supporting deduction management teams or customer financial operations.
- Knowledge of order management, customer claims, and credit management processes.
- Exposure to ERP systems, accounts receivable platforms, or supply chain reporting tools.
