The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking an Product Development Specialist for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in New York, NY 10001. Details of the position are as follows:
Job Details:
• Pay: $42.13/hr to Start!!
• 6-month assignment covering a maternity leave.
• Hybrid work schedule.
• Position will be mainly responsible for leading skincare product innovation and formula development within the Clarity & Age Management categories.
• Position will partner closely with Marketing, Research & Innovation, Operations, Regulatory, and external vendors to bring new products to market.
• Position will drive ingredient strategies, product claims development, texture innovation, and clinical testing programs.
• Position will oversee the end-to-end product development process, ensuring projects remain on schedule and aligned with brand objectives.
• Position will evaluate market trends, consumer insights, and portfolio needs to identify innovation opportunities and maintain a competitive product pipeline.
• Position will serve as the key product development expert for skincare formulas, regulatory requirements, and efficacy claims.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years of beauty, skincare, cosmetics, or personal care product development experience required.
• Strong experience with skincare formulation, ingredient strategy, claims development, and product innovation required.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing product development projects from concept through launch required.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, clinical testing, and product efficacy validation required.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills required.
• Experience collaborating with Marketing, R&D, Operations, and external manufacturing partners required.
• Ability to travel to Clark, NJ as needed.
• Experience within prestige beauty, luxury beauty, skincare, or cosmetics industries strongly preferred.
