Demand Planning Associate
Location: El Segundo, CA (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days WFH)
Pay Rate: $23/hr
Duration: 6 Months
Job Description
Seeking a Demand Planning Associate to support forecasting, supply planning, and inventory optimization activities within a fast-paced consumer products environment. This role will focus on demand forecasting, sales trend analysis, reporting, and S&OP support while partnering with cross-functional teams across supply chain, sales, marketing, and finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support monthly baseline demand forecasting for product portfolios using historical sales data and statistical analysis
- Analyze forecast accuracy, forecast bias, and sales trend deviations using internal reporting systems
- Support S&OP planning activities by integrating promotional plans, new product launches, and market intelligence into forecasts
- Perform data analysis and reporting to identify root causes impacting demand variability
- Assist inventory planning teams with demand signal alignment to reduce stock-outs and excess inventory
- Support SKU rationalization, supply chain optimization, and planning-related projects
- Create and maintain forecasting reports, dashboards, and planning documentation
- Utilize Excel and reporting tools for large dataset analysis and business insights
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed within the last 12 months
- Preferred fields: Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline
Required Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas, and data analysis
- Demand forecasting and sales trend analysis

- Large dataset analysis and data interpretation
