Job Description
Manufacturing Associate I supports analytical laboratory operations focused on chemical analysis, contamination monitoring, and quality control in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. The role involves operating analytical instrumentation, performing wet chemistry techniques, and ensuring data integrity for process and product quality evaluation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prepare samples, standards, reagents, and calibration curves per SOPs
- Perform routine chemical and trace metal analysis
- Operate and maintain analytical instruments for accurate data generation
- Conduct contamination analysis on wafers and process environments
- Execute titrations, moisture analysis, and quantitative chemical testing
- Document, review, and validate analytical data in laboratory systems
- Maintain compliance with QA/QC standards and laboratory protocols
- Support failure investigations and root cause analysis
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline preferred
- 1–2 years of hands-on chemistry lab experience required
- 0–4 years of relevant industry experience
Required Skills
- Wet chemistry techniques and sample preparation
- Titration and quantitative chemical analysis
- Chemical nomenclature and reagent handling
- Analytical data processing and validation using lab software systems
- Measurement of volumes and masses with laboratory instruments
- Basic statistical analysis (mean, standard deviation)
