We are seeking an experienced SAP EDI Analyst to support critical EDI operations within a fast-paced supply chain and manufacturing environment. This role will support SAP ECC EDI operations, trading partner integrations, IBM Sterling coordination, transaction monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily SAP ECC EDI operations and transaction monitoring
- Coordinate with IBM Sterling support teams and vendors
- Troubleshoot EDI transaction failures and support issue resolution
- Assist with onboarding and maintenance of customer/supplier trading partners
- Support testing, validation, and implementation of EDI connections
- Collaborate with Commercial, Supply Chain, GSM, and IT teams to ensure accurate data flow and reliable integrations
- Maintain EDI workflows, operational documentation, and transaction visibility
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational enhancements
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on EDI experience (5+ preferred)
- Strong SAP experience within manufacturing/distribution environments
- Experience supporting EDI transactions for order management, shipping, invoicing, and procurement
- Strong knowledge of ANSI X12 and EDIFACT standards
- Experience with integration concepts including XML, APIs, flat files, middleware, and backend interfaces
- Ability to define EDI mapping logic and generate pseudocode for implementations
- Experience troubleshooting transaction failures and resolving EDI issues
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Business, or related field required
Preferred Qualifications:
- IBM Sterling VAN experience
- Telecommunications EDI integration support experience
- Experience supporting transaction sets including 850, 855, 810, 856, 940, 945, 846, 947, and more
