Job Description:
The Logistics Specialist supports distribution center operations within a cGMP-regulated environment, handling receipt, storage, and shipment of marketed biopharma products. Responsibilities include executing pick, pack, and ship activities against orders, moving materials using pallet jacks and powered industrial equipment, and maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system updates.
The role involves operating forklifts, walkie riders, and turret trucks to transport GMP and non-GMP materials, performing equipment safety checks, and ensuring accurate data entry into SAP and internal systems. Additional responsibilities include supporting logistics-related process activities, maintaining records per compliance standards, and ensuring proper material handling within a biotech distribution setting.
Required Skills:
- Experience in warehouse/distribution center operations (pick, pack, ship)
- Hands-on experience with material handling equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, walkie riders, turret trucks)
- Experience performing inventory control and cycle counts
- Experience with SAP or similar warehouse/inventory systems
- Experience handling materials in regulated environments (cGMP/manufacturing)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in biotech or pharmaceutical distribution environments
- Experience supporting GMP-compliant logistics and material movement
- Experience with regulated product handling and documentation processes
