Job Title: Project Manager I – Meetings & Events (Biopharma)
Location: Foster City, CA 94404 (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Rate: $55.56/hr
Job Summary:
Project Manager I supporting biopharma meetings and events within a commercial operations environment, focused on execution, process standardization, and event technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end execution of sales meetings, conferences, and commercial events
- Utilize Cvent for event setup, registration, and attendee management
- Use Smartsheet to track project timelines, workflows, and deliverables
- Drive process standardization across the event lifecycle
- Implement automation to streamline event operations
- Ensure accuracy of event data, reporting, and system records
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for event delivery
- Support operational initiatives within commercial event programs
Required Skills & Experience:
- 6+ years of experience managing biopharma/pharma meetings and events
- Hands-on experience with Cvent (event build, registration, reporting)
- Hands-on experience with Smartsheet (project tracking, workflow management)
- Experience executing large-scale sales meetings and conferences
- Experience implementing process improvements and automation in event operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
Preferred:
- Experience within biopharma commercial operations
- Experience with event data management and reporting systems
- Experience managing event vendors and platforms
