Senior Financial Analyst
Waco, TX (100% Onsite – Non-Negotiable)
$38–$41/hour
6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension Based on Performance & Business Needs)

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support a fast-paced manufacturing organization by providing financial analysis, forecasting, and cost accounting support for operations. This role will partner closely with manufacturing and business leaders to drive financial planning, inventory oversight, cost improvement initiatives, and strategic decision-making.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with a strong background in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and financial modeling who thrives in a highly collaborative, onsite environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial support to manufacturing and packaging operations leadership.
  • Support the annual manufacturing cost development cycle, including standard costing and planning assumptions.
  • Develop cost estimates for new products, product extensions, and business opportunities.
  • Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and planning models (including long-range planning and periodic forecast updates).
  • Support month-end close activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory trends, profitability, and cost improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain internal financial consolidation files and reporting tools to support corporate requirements.
  • Present financial data, business insights, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations, finance, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on planning assumptions and business strategy.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Assist in inventory management oversight and related financial processes.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, or related financial analysis
  • Strong financial analysis, modeling, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling, large data analysis)
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, planning, and variance analysis
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with speed, accuracy, and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner across functions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP
  • Exposure to Power BI
  • Experience in manufacturing, life sciences, pharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated production environments
  • Inventory accounting / inventory operations finance experience
