Job Description:
- Payrate: $21.09/hr W2
- Direct Hire Full Time job.
- 2nd shift: Mon-Fri; 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM (Saturday OT as needed)
- 3rd shift: Sunday – Thursday; 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM
- Operating machines and production equipment safely, rotating between various equipment on different lines, and assisting in shipping and receiving operations.
- A critical aspect of this position includes driving a forklift and maintaining palletizing equipment.
Required Skills:
- 1-2 years of previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is required.
- Experience in machine operation, operating manufacturing/production machines/equipment is required.
- Forklift operation is required.
- Current forklift certification or ability to become certified.
Responsibilities:
- Operates machines and production equipment safely in accordance with instructions
- Sets up or adjusts equipment according to manufacturing specifications
- Ensure that all equipment operates smoothly and meets quality control standards to deliver high-quality products
- Monitors the quality of output to identify or discard re-manufacture faulty products
- Maintains accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be analyzed
- Participate in HPS activities.
- DMS-Daily Management System: CILT, CL, DH
- CILT-Cleaning, Inspection, Lubrication, Tightening
- CL-Centerlining
- DH-Defect Handling
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials and products throughout the facility.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on palletizing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair minor issues with palletizing machinery to minimize downtime
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations, including loading and unloading materials and verifying inventory.
- Acquire multiple task skills to effectively backfill any outages in specific areas of production
