Job Description:
- Payrate: $71/hr W2
- 12-months contract – with possible extension based on performance and budget.
- Facilities / Utilities Engineer profile supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing operations and capital projects.
- Someone that ensures all plant utility systems that keep manufacturing running are reliable, compliant and operational.
Required skills:
- Experience in cGMP/FDA regulated facilities/pharmaceutical/manufacturing environment is required.
- Experience in Utility systems like HVAC, chilled water, steam, compressed air, process gases is required.
- Experience in designing, AutoCAD, P&ID, engineering drawings, systems layouts, equipment/specification reviews is required.
- Experience in troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), preventative maintenance support is required.
- Experience in capital projects, commissioning, installation, qualification/startup support is required.
Responsibilities:
- Design, troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain utility systems (HVAC, chilled water, steam, compressed air, process gases, etc.) for pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
- Develop and review P&IDs, equipment specifications, and engineering calculations to ensure system reliability, energy efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide technical support during capital project design, installation, commissioning, and qualification phases.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on utility/facilities issues and implement preventive maintenance or upgrade solutions.
- Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and project teams to minimize downtime and support 24/7 manufacturing operations.
- Ensure all work complies with cGMP, FDA/EMA guidelines, and internal engineering standards.
