Job Description:
Pay: $29-34/hr
8-month assignment temp to hire
Shift will be Hybrid, Tuesdays and Wednesday on-site
Key Responsibilities:
- Support administration of I-9 forms, E-Verify, and related immigration issues
- Direct subpoenas and external requests for information to the proper departments
- Facilitate communication with state labor agencies
- Conduct research on a variety of employment topics such wage and hour laws, minor labor laws, protected job leave laws, etc., and communicate findings appropriately
Required Skills and Experience:
- Seeking licensed attorney with 3-8 years’ legal experience.
- Motivated self-starter with an eye for detail and excellent organization skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple tasks and deadlines
- Willingness and proven ability to learn on the job
- High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality
- Ability to work independently, or collaboratively across functional areas, as needed
- MS Word and Excel competence (including redlining, formatting, editing, sorting, basic formulas)
- License/Certification:
- Licenses attorney (active status, any state in the US)
