Title: Manufacturing Operator III
Location: Cincinnati, OH 45209, USA
Shift: Day shift hours, 5AM to 3:30PM Monday thru Thursday
Duration: 6+ months (Possible extension/conversion based on performance and budget)
Hourly Rate on W2: $26-29
Job Description:
Responsible for the execution of daily tasks associated with the manufacture of pharmaceutical products, including but not limited to the set-up of equipment, the performance of manufacturing steps according to formula and the disassembly and cleaning of equipment. The employee shall also demonstrate the ability to understand and execute manufacturing directions presented in Standard Operating Procedures and Manufacturing Batch Records in compliance with a GMP environment. Assists in the training of other Operators and possesses the ability to troubleshoot equipment and process related problems.
Essential Skills, Experience, and Competencies (includes Licenses, Credentials)
• Must have basic literacy in English
• Must have basic mechanical aptitude
• Must demonstrate the ability to perform basic math functions
• Understands the logical sequence of events and processes and its impact on products
• Must regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift/move up to 35 pounds unassisted, and occasionally lift/move up to 75 pounds assisted. Employee must be able to sit/stand regularly for long periods of time. The position will be required to wear respirator in some processes. Other requirements include stooping and reaching to perform various job tasks and movement of skids using a pallet jack applying 30-75 lbs of force. Employee will frequently climb step ladders/platforms.

• Training – Line operation and batch records process documentation
• Understands the logical sequence of events and processes and its impact on products
• Computer systems and SAP knowledge must be able to process electronic batch records and all associated transactions in SAP

• Able to work as part of a team and adapt to changes in work duties
• Good observation skills and attention to detail
• Maintains up to date communication with supervision

• Successfully trains other Operators on equipment and processes. Assure that the team members have the necessary training to effectively participate on the team

Education and Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/mechanical environment. Experience in a GMP environment is preferred
