Job Description:
- Pay: $40 – 45/hr (W2)
- 6-month assignment with possibility of extension based on performance and budget
- Initially will be 100% onsite in Dallas, TX (5 days/week for training), with potential to transition to hybrid schedule
- You will be responsible for supporting financial management of large-scale projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
- You will perform variance analysis by comparing budgeted vs. actual costs and provide insights to stakeholders.
- You will assist with financial reporting, cost estimates, and reconciliation processes.
- You will collaborate with project managers and cross-functional/global teams to support project goals.
- You will ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal accounting standards.
- You will support time tracking, purchase order forecasting, and capitalization of project costs
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
- 3 – 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in project accounting
- Strong experience with financial forecasting, reconciliation, and project-based accounting
- Experience working in large corporate environments and with global teams preferred
- Proficiency with Excel required (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.)
- Experience with SAP required; familiarity with project financial tools (Apptio, Targetprocess, Clarity) is a plus
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities
