Program Manager - Compensation Systems

Remote, CA

The Fountain Group, a national staffing firm. We are currently seeking a Program Manager – Compensation Systems for a prominent client of ours. This position fully remote. Details for the position are as follows:
 
Job Description:
  • Pay: $68 – 72/hr (W2)
  • 11-month assignment with potential for extension or temp-to-hire based on performance and continued need.
  • In this role, you will support complex, cross-functional initiatives within the Products & Marketing organization. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing large programs with multiple workstreams in a matrixed environment and will bring a strong consulting mindset paired with excellent project management skills.
  • Daily responsibilities include scheduling and leading meetings, coordinating with stakeholders across teams, tracking deliverables, maintaining project plans and documentation, and ensuring milestones are completed on time. This person will also facilitate requirements gathering sessions, develop status reports and dashboards, identify risks and process gaps, and help drive issue resolution.
  • In addition, the role involves evaluating program data, identifying opportunities for optimization and automation, and creating clear, executive-ready communications and presentations. This position will also support alignment across business, product, engineering, and marketing trams while helping manage interactive, creative, and marketing-related deliverables.
 
Qualifications:
  • 3 – 8 years of relevant experience in program management, project management, or consulting-related roles.
  • Prior Big 4 or major consulting firm experience is required
  • Strong project/program management experience, ideally within a SaaS or commercial software environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with requirements gathering and leading cross-functional discussions in matrixed organizations
  • Basic understanding of end-to-end compensation process is required
  • Experience collaborating across multiple teams and functions is preferred
  • M&A experience is preferred
  • Exposure to compensation tools, incentive compensation management platforms, HRIS, or HCM systems is a plus
  • Salesforce and/or org62 experience is a plus
