Job Description:
- Completing cosmetic formulas, following up on stability of formulas, and adjusting fix formulas, as necessary.
- Creating prototype formulas and performing modifications to meet product specifications.
- Provide creative and resourceful solutions to issues which may arise during the product development process.
- Interact with various support groups within R&D and maintaining a minimum of 5 basic projects.
- Perform stability studies and stability testing and pH adjustment for formulas.
- Bachelor’s degree within the life sciences – looking to get into the cosmetic industry!
- Internship, co-op, or academic laboratory experience with formulations or cosmetic products is highly preferred.
- Must have general chemistry experience in titrations, pH testing, pipetting, etc.
- Pay: $25.74 hourly (W2)
- 11-month contract with potential for extension/conversion
- Onsite, M-F, 8am-5pm
