I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Logistics Clerk for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Santa Clara - CA. Details for the position are as follows:
Pay Rate : $23.71 Hourly
Title : Logistics Clerk
Location: 3000 Tannery Way, Office - USA - CA - Headquarters * 1004 - Santa Clara - CA
Duration : 3 1⁄2 + months assignment, possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
This position calls for someone who possesses a good record management and data collection skill. A blend of technical comfort with SAP and Google Workspace, along with the communication skills to follow up with external partners. This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.
DUTIES DESCRIPTION
- Download and organize high volumes of documentation (Google Workspace - Drive and Gmail).
- Navigate SAP to pull internal shipping and financial records
- Light data entry of import/export data into reports
- Ensure all records are complete, legible, and stored in an orderly fashion
- Gather necessary documentation from forwarding agents/carriers/finance
- Maintain a "tracker" to follow up on pending requests until records are received
- Communication "grit" to follow up with vendors repeatedly to get the files you need
Your Experience
2-3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
SKILLS
- Data Collection, Administrative, or Logistics experience
- Record management
- Strong professional email etiquette
- Familiarity with Google Workspace
- Excel skills and experience with ERP or trade compliance systems
- Eye for detail and a love for keeping digital folders organized
Education
College or relative equivalent experience would be good
