Job Description:
- Payrate: $70/hr W2
- Duration: 12 month contract – possible extensions based on performance and budget.
- Shift: 8am to 5pm.
- Travel: Potential for infrequent travel, both domestic and abroad.
- 100% onsite required - Open to candidates, who's willing to relocate on their own expenses.
- This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelors OR 3 yrs work-related experience with a Masters
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Experience with laboratory test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong foundation in C, C++, and python
- Siemens Capital experience
Position Responsibilities:
- Assists with the development and documentation of electronic and electrical system requirements.
- Develops or modifies basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements.
- Performs system tests to verify operational and functional requirements.
- Supports fabrication technicians and suppliers’ questions during build and fabrication process
- Supports resolution of product integration issues and production anomalies.
- Supports hands-on troubleshooting of test racks
- Perform acceptance test procedures to demonstrate conformance to design and document results
- Develop and maintain scripts used to run test functions using C and C++
- Researches basic technologies for potential application to company business needs
