Job Description:
- Payrate: $20/hr W2
- 10 months contract – possible extension based on performance and budget.
- This position is an entry-level job. The Production Assistant will be responsible for helping Production Operators in the manufacturing of paint products.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment or production environment preferred
- Detail oriented and able to follow directions
- Safety Oriented
- Dependable
- Able to communicate effectively
Job Duties:
- Works safely utilizing all relevant PPE and adhering to safe handling practices
- Measure raw materials and pre-batch them for operators
- Assist with the addition of materials to the mixing vessels
- Assist with the packaging of finished products, including applying lids to containers and stacking pails
- Some heavy lifting of 50lbs-80lbs
- Able to safely operate power lift equipment such as forklift
- Able to work on elevated platforms
- Perform other related duties as assigned
