Job Description:
- Payrate: $27.65/hr W2
- 5 months contract – possible extension based on performance and budget.
- The Temp Operator is responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient execution of assignments and responsibilities for the Mixing process in Bay Point, California.
- This position reports to the area Supervisor, but may receive direction and/or training from other designated personnel.
Required Skills:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent.
- Machine Operation in a manufacturing environment/industry.
- Operates production/manufacturing equipment, machines.
Responsibilities:
During Mixer Clean-Up
- Mixer Clean –Up
- Vessel Clean-Up
- 2nd Set of Tooling Installation
- DBE Solvent Retrieval and Storage
- Attainment to changeover procedure
- Primary Support to Clean-Up Efforts
- Tracking and Reporting
- 2nd Set of Tooling Management: Clean -up of Tooling, Inventory Management, Replenishment
- DBE Management: Weekly Filtering Activity, Transfer to IBC BINS, DBE Performance Tracking, Replenishment
- 5s Activities: Visual Management
- Next job set-ups/checklist completion
Other qualifications:
- Compliance to Changeover
- All Clean-Up activities meet a high quality and safety standard
- Basic Maths - Proficient at routine mathematics, which includes addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Must be able to retain information and training.
- Must work efficiently and within established time frames and effectively function within a team environment.
- Able to climb stairs (20+) several times per day
- Oral Comprehension -- The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences data.
- Oral Expression -- The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand data
- Verbally communicate one-on-one and in front of groups.
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
- Written Expression -- The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
- The employee frequently is required to sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
