Job Description:
Location: Basking Ridge, NJ – Onsite
Duration: 6 months
Pay: $30.00/hr.
We are seeking a motivated End User Support Technician I to provide technical support for PC and Mac hardware, software, and network systems at our headquarters. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of IT or End User Support experience who are self-motivated, customer-service oriented, and eager to work in a fast-paced environment.
You will act as a Level 2 support escalation for walk-up and call center issues, assist with account lifecycle management, and provide support for hardware, software, and telephony systems. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate technical solutions into user-friendly guidance are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite technical support for PC and Mac hardware platforms, Microsoft Windows 10, Office 365, and telephony systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and escalate as needed to Infrastructure and Operations teams.
- Support new hire hardware/software setup, moves, adds, and changes (MAC) requests.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles for troubleshooting and training purposes.
- Develop and deliver user-friendly instructions, guidance, and training for end users.
- Support meetings, national/regional events, and audit activities with IT services as required.
- Act as a junior system administrator for routine account and system tasks.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of IT or End User Support experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10, Office 365, and general networking principles.
- Experience supporting PC and Mac hardware and laptop/phone setups.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; associate/bachelor’s degree or technical trade program preferred.
- Industry certification required: A+ preferred; Microsoft, Apple, or HDI certifications also acceptable.
