Job Description:
- Payrate: $31 - 33/hr W2
- 9 months contract – possible extension based on performance & budget.
- Education: BS in Electrical Engineering & 1 year experience OR AS degree & 2-3 yrs experience OR HS Diploma & 5+ yrs experience.
- HM would like someone who has supported equipment acquisition process in some capacity but could flex on this for a candidate who checks off the other focuses.
- Candidate will be supporting Capital Equipment group that is responsible for purchasing/ acquiring the equipment and then installing and testing it.
Required Skills:
- Must have: Troubleshoot electrical controls equipment
- Capital equipment/ project exp is needed
- Must be able read/ interpret schematics
- Must have: Multimeter to troubleshoot
- Must have: factory acceptance testing (FAT).
- Must have exp with Word, Excel (Access is a bonus)
- Need some CAD – 2D & 3D CAD exp; Autodesk products – AutoCAD, Vault, Inventor preferred (at a min must be able to navigate and manage CAD files; any design exp would be a bonus)
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Support equipment acquisition efforts in electrical aspect for different scale projects for manufacturing equipment upgrades and brown/green-field installations.
- Establish equipment specifications and requirements (configuration, quantity, etc.).
- Provide technical support for Global Supply Management and equipment vendors throughout the competitive bid process (vendor identification, RFQ, vendor selection) then support resolution of issues during the equipment build process.
- Support team leaders on generating timeline for equipment delivery and incorporate into integrated schedule.
- Participate in deployment team planning activities.
- Engage with other AMT groups - Capital Deployment Project Teams, Development, Technology Platforms, and Cable Technology.
- Coordinate factory acceptance testing (FAT)
Travel Requirements:
- Periodic (<20%) travel to vendor sites and project locations (domestic only).
- Home office is onsite in Wilmington office.
