The Opportunity
We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Talent Sourcing Specialist to support high-volume hourly and Skilled Trades hiring initiatives within a corporate manufacturing environment. This role is dedicated exclusively to proactive sourcing and pipeline development and is not client-facing.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, production-driven environments and has demonstrated experience identifying and engaging skilled trade and hourly talent at scale. This is a hands-on sourcing role designed to support recruiters and hiring teams by delivering strong, qualified candidate pipelines aligned to workforce demand.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively source high-volume hourly and Skilled Trades talent using job boards, Boolean search techniques, networking, community outreach, grassroots recruiting, and referral generation.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines to support recurring and forecasted manufacturing workforce needs.
- Partner closely with recruiters and HR team members to align on role requirements, candidate profiles, and hiring priorities.
- Leverage recruiting technology and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to identify, track, and engage candidates.
- Utilize recruiting metrics and data analytics to monitor pipeline health and sourcing effectiveness.
- Conduct resume reviews, candidate outreach, and initial pre-screening conversations.
- Maintain accurate documentation and activity tracking within recruitment systems.
- Support diversity sourcing initiatives and community-based talent outreach efforts.
- Assist with employer branding initiatives to strengthen skilled trades pipelines in key markets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations throughout the sourcing process.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of sourcing or recruiting experience in a corporate or agency environment.
- Required: High-volume hourly recruiting experience.
- Required: Skilled Trades recruiting experience (manufacturing preferred).
- Experience sourcing within corporate manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with recruiting technology and tools (ATS systems, LinkedIn, job boards, Boolean search techniques).
- Experience leveraging recruiting data and analytics to inform sourcing strategy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and shifting priorities simultaneously.
- Strong written communication skills for candidate outreach and engagement.
- Highly organized, process-oriented, and self-motivated.
