Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both manual and automated testing, a strong understanding of software development life cycles, and a passion for delivering high-quality products. This role involves collaborating closely with developers and other stakeholders to ensure our applications meet functional and performance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for embedded SW applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to review requirements and provide feedback on testability and quality risks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices.
- Provide clear and concise test reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in software testing (manual and automated).
- Knowledge of QA methodologies and Agile practices.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).
- Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools.
- Familiarity with python.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
- Familiarity with consumer electronics
