Lab Manager (Contract)
Location: Cambridge, MA
Pay Rate: Up to $60.00/hour
We are seeking a hands-on Lab Manager to support small molecule process development within a fast-paced R&D environment. This role provides on-site laboratory and equipment support, ensures operational readiness, and supports scientists conducting experimental work.
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation

Perform experimental protocols and generate data

Manage inventory, purchasing, and shipping of chemicals and supplies

Coordinate equipment service, installations, and IT troubleshooting

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and training requirements

Support domestic and international chemical sample shipments
Qualifications

B.S./B.A. in Chemistry or related field (Master’s preferred)

3+ years of relevant laboratory experience - Experience coming from Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industry PREFERRED

Hands-on experience with lab equipment maintenance - Experience with HPLC instrumentation troubleshooting PREFERRED

Strong communication, organization, and independent work skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
