National Safety Manager (Direct Hire)
Locations: Dallas, TX (Preferred), Immokalee, FL and Knoxville, TN
Compensation: $115K - $140K

Responsibilities
Budget Management
- Develop and manage a national safety budget that prioritizes safety and cost control
- Create and enforce company-wide safety policies and procedures aligned with national regulations, industry standards, and best practices
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, industry groups, and other stakeholders to stay abreast of new regulations and industry best practices
- Visit all operating companies annually to conduct thorough risk assessments across all company sites, identifying potential hazards, and developing preventive measures to minimize risks
- Lead investigations into workplace accidents and near misses, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
- Ensure that all accidents and incidents are reported and investigated in a timely and thorough manner
- Design and implement comprehensive safety training programs for employees at all levels, including new hire orientations, refresher courses, and specialized safety training based on job roles
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations, conducting regular audits and inspections across all company locations
- Performance Metrics Tracking: Monitor key safety performance indicators (KPIs) like incident rates, near miss reports, and safety compliance levels to identify best practices and areas for improvement
- Provide leadership and guidance to site safety managers, operations managers, human resources, and other departments to ensure alignment on safety goals and initiatives
- Coordinate with maintenance departments to ensure vehicles are properly maintained and repaired
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans, coordinating emergency drills, and ensuring readiness for potential incidents.
- Regularly communicate safety updates and performance data to senior leadership, providing reports on safety trends and proactive recommendations
