Drafting/CAD Technician

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a ­­­­­­­­Drafting/CAD Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in ­­Painted Post, NY. Details for the position are as follows:

Pay Range: $28 - 32/hr depending on experience
Contract: 6 months with possible extension and/or conversion
100% onsite in Painted Post, NY

Job Description:

• Combine mechanical design expertise with advanced digital skills. 
• CAD Design, Revisions & Drawing Packages
• Create and modify detailed 2D/3D models and technical drawings using CAD software.
• Manage drawing revisions and prepare complete drawing packages for release.
• Manage drawings and documents within PDMWorks.
• Create, develop and update Shop Routers in ERP systems. (Syteline)
• Utilize automation tools to accelerate design workflows.
• Support implementation of AI-driven solutions for CAD and router processes.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or higher required
• 3+ years of experience in CAD design within manufacturing
• SolidWorks experience required
