Pay Rate : $51 Hourly on W2
Title : Sr Network Engineer (Min 3 days onsite weekly)
Location : Santa Clara, CA
Duration : : 12 months with possible extension
Hours – 9am-5pm.
Overview:
- HM portfolio deals with NGFW Customer Success Engineers
- Expected to be product SMEs – driving adoption of the firewall product
- Main job = drive adoption. From deployment to usage of security features. Optimizing customer ROI
- Seeking prior customer-facing experience
- Network Admin with hands-on experience on firewalls – any firewall experience can work here
- This is a technical role. Ability to do presentations on features (Soft skills) vital
Must Have -
- Firewalls – Zscaler, Cisco ASA, OR PAN (pan preferred)
- customer-facing experience
- Windows, Mac, Linux
- Any exposure/experience with PAN products in particular
Network Security certification : (PCNSA, PCNSE, Network Security Analyst, Next-Gen FW Engineer ) or CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or similar. Certification is required.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in network security engineering, operations, support, or professional service, or similar roles.
- Firewall experience is required
- Knowledge/experience with Networks NGFW security platforms is highly preferred
- Experience with Enterprise network products (router, switch, servers, wireless, monitoring, management)
- Working knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems
Customer/client-facing experience that ideally includes experience in customer escalations, account management
