An active TS/SCI with Polygraph, conducted in the past 5 years, is required for this role.
Due to the national security requirements of this role, only US Citizens can be considered for this position.
Position Overview
- This entry-level role focuses on developing and maintaining Python-based applications in a secure environment. The engineer will work under the guidance of senior developers and contribute to software solutions that meet government requirements.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts and applications to support mission requirements.
- Assist in debugging, testing, and documenting software components.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and analysts to implement software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and follow secure coding practices.
- Support integration and deployment of software in classified environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 0–2 years of professional experience in Java or Python software development. More is welcome.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Python Institute, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
- Proficiency in Python or Java programming.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and version control (e.g., Git).
- Basic knowledge of secure coding principles and federal IT standards.
