My name is Avery , and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Structural Payload Design Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Ridley Park; PA Details of the position are as follows: 
 
Job Description: 

• Pay: $72.40hr to Start!!
• Mon-Fri (Onsite!)
• 12-month assignment, possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
• The position will mainly be responsible for developing, integrating, and documenting structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.
• The position will also develop, maintain, and modify structural and interior payload system and component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
• The position will perform and integrate analytical and test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
• The position will also manage supplier development, test, and production activities and coordinate with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals
• The position will also be responsible for developing new design/analysis processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of the development effort.
• The position will investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements

 
Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree  Required!
• CAD experience (Catia or NX) Required!
• Aerospace Design Experience (Structures or Mechanical Systems) Required!
• Understanding of GD&T Required!
• Background in Product Data Management (PDM) Preferred!
• Good MS Office Suite Skills (Excel and PowerPoint Preferred!
• Basic Coding understanding and ability Preferred!
• Good understanding of analysis and load paths Preferred!
