Pay Range: $55 - 85/hr depending on experience
Contract: 6 months with possible extension and/or conversion

Job Description:
- Electrical Component Engineering Standards and Processes: Applies engineering knowledge of electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical components in evaluation of components for assembly and subassembly repair/design.
- Directly supports Sub-contractors and Suppliers to ensure their electronic components are qualified for *** usage per the contract and the Parts Management Plan
- Significant experience with a harsh environment/high reliability design environment, including previous aerospace, medical device, automotive, or industrial design/application experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD Degree with 4+ years' related work experience, Master's Degree with 7+ years' related work experience).
- Electrical design and/or Test experience with electrical components, wiring harnesses, connectors and cables.
- Specific experience in any military aerospace discipline, either as a defense contractor or as former military, especially in the area of Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS)
- Specific experience with military electronics, directly related to one of our electrical disciplines (i.e. components, wire/cables, processes, etc.)
- Specific and extensive experience with the electrical mil specs and aerospace industry specs that are relevant to our day to day.
- Deep experience/insight with wiring design, cables, connectors, etc. Someone who worked in a position where this was a key element of their primary responsibilities for 5+ years.
- Understanding of Aircraft and Weapons design/requirements to recommend the correct Alternate electrical components for new product development and legacy programs
