Business Development Associate (Contract – Hybrid)
Client: Confidential (Major Professional Services Firm)

Location: Kennesaw, GA (Hybrid)
Pay: $28–$33/hr
Starting Contract Length: 4 Months | ASAP Start



About the Role
We are seeking a Business Development Associate to support our client’s sales team. This role is focused on generating qualified opportunities, supporting lead generation campaigns, and contributing to sales growth. You’ll prospect, qualify, and hand off warm leads to senior consultants, while learning consultative sales approaches in a professional environment.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ year of experience in business development, lead generation, sales support, or inside sales)
  • Strong communication skills and customer-service mindset
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively


Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
  • 2+ years in business development, lead generation, pre-sales, or account management within an inside sales environment
  • Experience making high-volume outbound calls (80–100+ daily)
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com (or similar CRM) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of tax, accounting, or financial services industries
  • Familiarity with consultative B2B lead generation and objection handling
  • Ability to develop prospect lists, forecasts, and business development plans


Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales activity and opportunity goals
  • Prospect and qualify leads through outbound calling and research
  • Apply persuasive sales techniques to identify and create opportunities
  • Document all activity in CRM system and ensure accurate reporting
  • Collaborate with Regional Solution Consultants (RSCs) to hand off warm leads
  • Support marketing and pricing initiatives in alignment with organizational goals
  • Contribute to pipeline development, planning, and forecasting activities
