My name is Avery, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Test and Evaluation Tech I for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Seattle Washington, 98108 of the position are as follows: 
 
Job Description: 
  • Pay: $26.93/hr to Start!!
  • 6-month assignment, possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
  • Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:30pm – overtime is possible
  • The position will mainly be responsible for participating in test deign and performing routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems.
  • The position will also facilitate systems integration, fabrication, and modification; support system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post test tear down.
  • The position will conduct routine test analyze data and document results. Troubleshoot basic laboratory and test-related problems.
  • The position will perform system installation using general test equipment and troubleshoot if measurements are not within specification.
  • The position will also install, remove, or modify experimental/production aircraft wiring using various mechanical and electrical hand tools to bring wiring to engineering specifications per non-conformance reports and specifications.
  • The position will also assist in the development method and procedures to diagnose and correct malfunctions when methods and procedures have not been established.
 
Qualifications: 
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required!
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Required!
  • Ability to operate general test equipment (Oscilloscopes, power supplies, and meters of various types) and interpret results. Required!
  • Knowledge of routing, clamping, tying, connecting, and terminating wires and/or wire bundles in electrical systems and assemblies. Required!
  • Ability to troubleshoot using schematics and wiring diagrams to determine faulty components to replace and/or repair. Required!
  • Understanding and ability to analyze and calculate circuit values (Ohms Law, series and parallel resistance calculations, Faraday’s law of induction, Kirchhoff’s Current Law) Preferred!
