Duration:currently scheduled for 6 months with extensions based on need and performance.
Seeking a full lifecycle recruiter with 7+ years of experience (required).
Experience as a corporate recruiter for a media organization is required.
Prior experience recruiting newsroom positions including reporters, editors, photo jounralists, video journalists, etc. is a strong bonus.
Demonstrated excellence in full life-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and closing candidates is required.
Candidates should also have experience working with senior leadership on executive-level roles.
Demonstrated experience using recruitment tools and technologies, including applicant tracking systems is required (Workday is preferred).

You will:
Partner with Management in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Manage and drive the full-cycle recruiting process, overseeing job postings, reviewing applications and managing candidates from initial screenings and assessments through final offer negotiation.
Track and manage multiple recruitment projects in a fast-paced news environment.
Ensure hiring managers are presented with qualified candidate pools that offer a broad representation of experience and background.
Provide hiring managers with tools and best practices to ensure consistent interview and selection process across the newsroom
Maintain a talent database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects.
