Compensation Project Manager (Contractor) – Hybrid | Through End of 2026

Are you a compensation professional who thrives on execution, data analysis, and supporting people-facing programs? We’re looking for a Compensation Project Manager (Contractor) to partner closely with our Director of Compensation, Mobility, and People Analytics, helping us run key compensation cycles and performance processes from end to end.
This hands-on role is all about delivering results: ensuring data accuracy, enabling manager readiness, and making sure our compensation programs are smooth, fair, and effective. You’ll also support year-end awards, some light event coordination, and contribute to ongoing benchmarking and recruiting offer support.
 
What You’ll Do
Compensation Cycle Execution
  • Support the annual compensation planning process using Oracle
  • Prepare and deliver manager training materials and resources
  • Audit compensation recommendations for accuracy, equity, and alignment with guidelines
  • Track budgets and roll up summaries for leadership review
  • Test, validate, and maintain the Oracle compensation planning tool
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure proper award payouts
 
Performance Management Support
  • Use Power BI to support performance calibration and analysis
  • Help translate performance ratings into compensation outcomes
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to provide process support
 
Year-End Awards & Event Coordination
  • Coordinate year-end awards process, including nominations and leadership reviews
  • Help plan and execute logistics for the awards ceremony and holiday event
 
Talent Acquisition & Benchmarking
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition on offer development and benchmarking
  • Maintain benchmarking data in PayFactors and participate in surveys (e.g., Radford, Towers Watson)
 
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in compensation, HR operations, or related roles required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field required. (Master’s may offset experience)
  • Strong Excel and Power BI skills required. Oracle, and PayFactors experience is strongly desired.
  • Experience with compensation surveys and benchmarking tools required. (e.g., Radford, Towers Watson)
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Comfortable partnering with cross-functional teams, including managers and senior leaders
 
What to Expect
  • Interview Process: 2–3 rounds with HR and leadership panel
  • Work Environment: Hybrid (Cambridge, MA) preferred, but fully remote is possible
