- Pay: 38.00-44.00/hr.
- Length of Assignment: 6 months to start with potential for extension.
- We are looking for an energetic and experienced mass spectrometry scientist to join our Research Client Characterization team in the Protein Solutions and Bioanalytical department.
- This individual will help us grow our mass spectrometry capabilities, lead the development of new or improved techniques for the characterization of proteins and antibody drug conjugates in various matrices, as well as maintain our shared mass spectrometers.
- Determine and develop appropriate LC-MS methods for the characterization of intact ADCs, antibodies, and other proteins.
- Develop and optimize both broadly applicable and fit-for-purpose methodologies for the capture, characterization, and quantification of proteins and conjugates from biological samples.
- Perform peptide mapping to deeply characterize proteins and bioconjugates.
- Demonstrated experience in the operation and maintenance of mass spectrometers, their software, and applicable data analysis software.
- Hands-on experience working with a Waters Xevo G2S QTof, Thermofisher Q Exactive, and/or SCIEX X500B QTOF is nice to have but not required.
- Familiarity with affinity purification of proteins, peptides and/or metabolites is nice to have but not required.
