This is an excellent opportunity to work hands-on in an analytical laboratory setting using cutting-edge instrumentation like GC/MS and LC/MS/MS while contributing to meaningful work.
Shift Details:
- Pay: $22.50/hour
- 3-month assignment initially. Potential for extension or conversion.
- 3rd Shift / Overnight
- Full-time, on-site
- Eligible for overtime and potential long-term growth
What You'll Work On:
- Read, understand, and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Process instrument-acquired data and generate analytical reports
- Conduct first-pass reviews of GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS data per assay SOP
- Transcribe or upload results to the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
- Support and maintain a safe, clean, and compliant lab environment
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related scientific field is required.
- 1+ year of lab experience in an analytical or clinical laboratory is required.
- Experience working with biological specimens and chemical reagents is required.
- GC/MS or LC/MS experience is ideal. Gas Chromatography or Liquid Chromatography experience is required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to overnight lab operations.
